One of the most common things you will notice about Paladins Crystal Hack, is how similar it is to Overwatch. Now, we aren’t here to argue the finer details of this but instead will discuss how these similarities might attract previous Overwatch or Team Fortress 2 players, and what distinctions there are within Paladins Crystal Hack that you should expect to encounter.
Out of Game Progression
One location where Paladins varies most, is it’s out of game development. Paladins Crystal Generator is Absolve to Play, so there is absolutely no primary buy in. However, not all Champions are available to be played out instantly like in Team Fortress 2.
Instead, Paladins will take the same methodology as Smite, a MOBA created by Hi-Rez Studios, who also make Paladins. You may play Paladins free of charge and slowly and gradually earn coins to unlock new Champions, or purchase a lifetime move that unlocks all current and future Champions for a cost. These earned cash may also be used to unlock cosmetic items for Champions, or used to buy new cards.
Along with currency to acquire new Champions, you can also earn chests. These can be opened up at the key menu, and will usually prize you with personality cards and almost never with cosmetic items.
Probably one of the most obviously variations between Paladins and other Hero Shooters is that there is a Cards System that is actually active.
Cards are available for every Champion in the overall game. The cards enable you to modify their skills, to raised fit your playstyle. For instance, you can alter a Champion to be tankier, have lower cooldowns or increase the effects of their skills.
The best area of the card system is that it can save you 6 different configurations. This implies you can have drastically different ones ready, for situations where you will need that extra harm, or in a match where you understand lower cooldowns helps you to save your team.
Currency & Items
The other major difference between Paladins and Overwatch, is the fact you earn money throughout a match. You are going to earn this passively, but also through actions like getting kills and claiming objectives.
Anytime you die, or are again at your spawn point, you can spend this currency on in game items. These items only last for the existing game and do not hold over into other matches. Each item will bestow a specific benefit, that may be increased in electric power with an increase of money. Something to bear in mind though, is the fact that money is not a lot of and you will only make enough in a match to acquire 2 or 3 3 items. This makes each choice very important and can greatly have an effect on the outcome of the match.
Concluding a match in Paladins is a two step process. The first goal is a control point. You will need to manage it, then carry it until you’ve billed your team’s gauge to 100. Certainly, while this is happening the foe can contest, halting improvement and build-up their own gauge.
Whichever team catch it, then manages the Payload that spawns. You might now have to press the payload in to the other clubs area, or if you’re defending, you will need to avoid the payload by killing the other team rather than letting them get near to it.
